A brief moment of each day.

244/365–Random Act of Kindness

With Jo in town for an entire week I was able to squeeze in dinners with both my sets of parents.

Walking out to our cars, my dad noticed this woman struggling with her truck, its wheels mired in slush filled icy wells.  It wasn’t long before most of us were in the street helping her.  Matt manouvered the truck out and we were all thanked with a huge happy smile and hugs, even my dad, who spent the entire episode standing on the sidewalk. : )

Love it!! When my Mother moved to MN, she was struck by the number of good Samaritans. Even old Mrs Pillsbury would walk up the street in Wayzata to check on her fellow octogenarian! Otoh, fur and a gas guzzling truck, lady….
