A brief moment of each day.

60/365–Peace at Last

My grandfather died this afternoon, while I was on the bus on my way home from work.  His kids were there with him.  I saved these black eyed susans from the mower blade this summer, giving them a small spot of lawn in which to proliferate.  I’m glad they did,  I needed to see a pretty flower when I got home.

So sorry to hear about this – your vigil during his illness must have been hard. But your empathy and love are a lasting testament to your Grandfather.
