46/365–Havlicek’s Orchard @ Farmer’s Market
The Sweet 16, how do I describe it so you can taste it without you know, tasting it? These came off the trees yesterday so they’re as fresh as I’m going to get without picking my own out at an orchard. The skin smells faintly sweet, like fruit jerky, your teeth break through into the firm yellow flesh, and the flavor of a sweet apple, lacking the sourness of a Granny Smith, or the tartness of a Pink Lady makes its way across your taste buds. . . heavenly.
